Usually, an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet’s life. Emergencies can be things such a snail bait poisoning, hit by a car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
If we are unable or unavailable to see your pet at the time of an emergency, please contact Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital at 831-475-5400. Please advise them at the time of your visit that your pet is a regular patient with us so that we may check up on the well-being of your pet after your visit.
